Whaingaroa Harbour (also known as Raglan Harbour) is under the fog. The fog was so thick it was like a water fall, with the fog cascading of the cliffs.

Hot water beach, gets its name from the hot volcanic water which can be dug up at low tide, hence the 100 of tourists which travel to this spot with shovel in hand. The water contains large amounts of salt (NOT salt water), calcium, magnesium, potassium, fluorine, bromine and silica. There are other hot water springs nearby but the location of these two springs on the beach make them unique.
